Be a Part of Something Big!

Every year, students and teachers participate in Big Gift activities to help conserve threatened habitats and protect critically endangered species. Since 1989, their combined efforts have raised $6.25 million to purchase and protect more than 400,000 acres.

You can help, too!

Big Gift 2009 will purchase and protect threatened rainforests in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Take the challenge and help us offset 1 billion pounds of carbon pollution to stop global warming!

Or help us protect critically endangered sea turtles in Costa Rica or elephants in Tanzania.

Choose from a variety of fundraising activities. Request free coin banks for the easiest fundraiser ever or order beautiful, beaded awareness bracelets. Every penny, nickel, dime and quarter counts!

Help without fundraising! Do one or more of our free science activities to trigger a grant from a conservation partner for rainforests, sea turtles, or elephants! Earth Day Science Symposium for grades 4-9

"This is our thirteenth year of donating, and we are just as excited and enthusiastic as we were that very first year!"
Kathy Lewis, Juanamaria School

Big Gift conservation partners include the American Bird Conservancy, Nature & Culture International, World Land Trust-US, The Leatherback Trust, Conservation International, and the African Wildlife Foundation.
