Alia Munn, Operations Manager
Alia Munn joined Earth’s Birthday Project in 2012 as the National Program Director for Big Gift to the Earth conservation program. Now, in her role as Operations Manager, she’s responsible for the day-to-day running of the organization, including oversight of retail sales, web store, publications, inventory and communications. In her new role, Alia still manages The Big Gift to the Earth student conservation program. Born on the east coast, Alia moved to New Mexico in 1990, and is the mother of two teen-aged sons. An avid hiker and nature enthusiast, Alia feels most at home in the woods and at the beach, and is completely dedicated to protecting endangered habitats through her work at Earth’s Birthday Project.
Beth Martinez, Customer Support
Beth Martinez has provided customer service to thousands of teachers annually since 1998. Beth’s daughter and daughter in law are both elementary teachers in New Mexico who bring Earth’s Birthday’s hands-on science materials to their classrooms every year. A brand new, first-time grandmother, Beth has also recently adopted a Heeler puppy named Cooper. Beth enjoys spending time with family and friends, and planting flowers each spring under the beautiful New Mexico sky.
Suzie Briddsang, Associate Director
Suzie Briddsang has been with the Earth’s Birthday Project since 2011, helping to spread “wonder, learning, and care for our Earth” as far and wide as possible. In her role as Associate Director, she’s responsible for connecting the organization with sponsoring businesses, organizations and foundations. Her work experience includes administrative, public relations and project management roles in educational and nonprofit organizations. She also works collaboratively with Jon Weaver (Communications) on publications, web presence and marketing efforts for Earth’s Birthday Project. Suzie is a published author, avid gardener, enthusiastic traveler, and maintains a creative arts studio in her spare time.
